He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Lynch and B. Ruth Lynch (Hewitt); and his brothers, Brian, Michael and David Lynch.
He is survived by: his wife Jeanne Lynch (Hodgkins); his son Matthew Lynch (Heather) of Derry, NH; his grandchildren, Matthew Edward Jr., Jameson and Hudson; his daughter Elizabeth Toerne (Kevin) of Danvers; his grandsons, Samuel Edward and Benjamin; his daughter Jessica Osier (Damein) of South Hampton, NH; his stepdaughter Michelle Gilliss (Steve) of Danvers; his stepgrandchildren, Harrison, Tristan, Teagan and Jaiden; his stepson Daniel Turcotte (Gabriella) of Danvers; his stepgrandchildren, Jordan, Ayla and Adelyn; his siblings, Ruthanne, Arthur, Mary, Laurie, John, Steve, Tom, Sue and Kenny; and his former wife Barbara. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
After years of early morning walks through Salem Willows, and at the start of the Covid-19 pandemic he found his true calling.
