She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph R. Gallant and Ruth Gallant (Pickard); her husband Raymond S. Alves; and her children, Nicole Gallant Alves and Raymond Alves Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Danielle Arel of San Diego, Irene Doherty of Chester, Judy Carmody of Mendon, Steven Alves of California and David Alves of California; and her siblings, Marilyn Gabriel of Northfield, Virginia Sidmore of Danvers and Allen Gallant. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
