It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Barbara Gifford (Danvers, Massachusetts), born in Newburyport, Massachusetts, who passed away on October 27, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur N. Young and Marcella D. Young (Houlihan); her stepdaughter Carole Anderson; her sons-in-law, David W. Martin and Charles Anderson; and her siblings, A. Norman Young and Virginia Duncan.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Nute of Dover, NH, Deborah Gilmore of Bartlett, NH, Karen Martin of Danvers, Broderick Gifford of Ipswich and Paul Gifford of Lynnfield; and her grandchildren, Jennifer Flewelling, Heather Fojt, Brooke Gilmore, Rick Gilmore and Jamie Gilmore. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
