It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Anna (Gesualdi) Calitri of Danvers, Massachusetts, who passed away on February 26, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Calitri; her parents, Arcangelo Gesualdi and Costanza Gesualdi (Joseph Calitri); her parents-in-law, Antonio and Raffaella Calitri (Totilo); her son-in-law Michael Fleury Sr.; her brother Giovanni Gesualdi; her godson Costanzo Gesualdi; and her siblings-in-law, Antinetta Ciruolo, Sam Ciruolo, Angelo Mastrangelo and Antonio Lapolla.
She is survived by: her children, Antinetta Ryan (Philip), Maria Bettencourt (Antonio), Ralph Calitri (Tracy), Theresa Fleury, Angelina Calitri, Anthony Calitri (Pam) and Joanna Giampietro (Walter); her grandchildren, Joseph and Jill Ryan; her great grandchild Koa; her grandchildren, Courtney Ryan and Mark Anderson; her great grandchildren, Bree, Cole, Jolene, Jeff Divoll, Rachael and Tyler DeStefano; her sisters, Grace Mastrangelo and Maria Tofalo; her sisters-in-law, Guiseppinna Gesualdi, Anna Lapolla and Mary Brooks (Donald); her godchildren, Anthony Ciruolo, Vito Mastrangelo, Anthony Brooks and Michelle Sutherland; and also, Blake, Harrison, Ella, Katherine, Frank Piazza, Valentina, Joey, Rosa, Matt Langlais, Tyler, Dylan, Angela Calitri, Lucas, Peter Calitri, Amanda Vocell, Angela Fleury, Michael Fleury Jr., Michael Calitri (Amanda Rich), Joseph Calitri, Nicholas Calitri, Mackenzie Roy, Haley Giampietro, Marissa Giampietro and Aren Tulp. She is also survived by loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the C. R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors (28 Elm St, Danvers, MA 01923). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Saint Mary of the Annunciation Church (24 Conant St, Danvers, MA 01923).
