It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William J. Gargan (Dalton, Massachusetts), born in Becket, Massachusetts, who passed away on August 15, 2018, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his daughter Sharon; and his siblings, Henry, Edward, Florence Gargan and Patricia Wilander.

He is survived by: his parents, Edward Gargan and Catherine Gargan (Galliher); his wife Gail Gargan; his children, David Gargan (Liz), Lori Griffin, Shawn Gargan (Demarie) and Kelly Gargan; and his stepsons, Brian Rosenhein (Elisa) and Bruce Rosenhein (Jackie). He is also survived by 22 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Friends of the Dalton Council of Aging, Inc in care of the funeral home.
