He is survived by: his spouse Patricia Hooper; his children, Donna Polidoro (Michael) of Pittsfield, William J. Gardner, Jr. of Franklin and Thomas Gardner (Jennifer) of Cortlandt Manor, NY; his grandchildren, Alyssa, Stephen Capitanio, Hayley Duffy, William J. III, Abigail Gardner, Paisley and Andrew Gardner; his great grandchild Chelsea; his siblings, Charlotte Sauve, Thomas "Skip" Gardner (Nancy) of Dalton and Trina Barnes (Bob) of Richmond; his sisters-in-law, Wilma Brittigan of Hudson, FL and Judy Scago of Pittsfield; his children, Joseph Krok and Kelly Krok; and his grandsons, Joseph and David. He is also survived by many other friends, nieces and nephews.
