She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Smachetti and Rose Piatta Smachetti; her husband James F. Duffy, Sr.; and her siblings, Fred Smachetti, Ann Tarmey and Norma Walker.
She is survived by: her children, James F. Duffy of Pittsfield, Michael J. Duffy of Provincetown, MA, Eileen K. McCormick of Cheshire and Joanne M. Delmolino (William) of Dalton; and her brother Rico Smachetti (Jean) of Lee. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to Mt. Carmel Activities Fund, Dalton Ambulance or the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation in care of DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford St, Pittsfield, MA 01201.
