With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jean Smith (Dalton, Massachusetts), born in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, who passed away on September 1, 2021 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Lyman and Adele DeCelles Lyman; her husband Bernard A. Smith, Sr.; and her sister Mary L. Ingraham. She is survived by: her children, Alan N. Smith (Mary) of Pittsfield, Bernard A. Smith, Jr. (Bonnie) of Niskayuna, NY. and Donna M. Bishop (Richard) of Lanesboro; her brother William Lyman, Jr. of Cheshire; her grandchildren, Benjamin, Christopher, Matthew, Linda, Justin, Jessica, Rebecca and Michael; and her great grandchildren, Ryker, Henry, Brooklyn, Bellamy and Weston.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Dalton Senior Center or to the American Cancer Society, and mailed to the funeral home.
