He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Carmel and Bernadette Owens Carmel; his son Greg Carmel Jr.; and his sister Barbara Carmel Collins. He is survived by: his wife Carol Marchetti Carmel; his children, Brian Carmel and Chrissy Carmel; his daughter-in-law Diana Carmel; and his sister Rosemarie Carmel Barzottini. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.
