He was predeceased by: his parents, George Kardasen and Mary Seventko Kardasen; and his wife Joan Louise Richards. He is survived by: his sons, Richard Kardasen (Misty) of Hinsdale and Brian Kardasen (Terry) of Hinsdale; his granddaughter Bailey; and his great grandchild Sadie.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to Dalton Senior Center in care of the funeral home.
