It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Eleanor Marjorie Steele (Dalton, Massachusetts), born in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, who passed away on December 23, 2018, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her parents, Marjorie A. Bunt and Clayton Bunt; her children, Coralie E. Pelkey, Charlene F. Steele, Laurin R. Steele of Rotterdam and Kevin W. Steele (Francine) of Indiantown, FL; her sister Bette Gillett of Sebring, FL; and her great grandchild Nelson Pelkey. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to the Peru Congregational Church or the Peru Volunteer Fire Department both in care of the funeral home, 525 Main Street, Dalton, MA 01226.
