He was predeceased by: his parent Francis Gower; and his sibling Mary Johnson. He is survived by: his husband Claire C. Gower (Berube); his parent Mary Gower (Mansfield); his sons, Michael Gower of Portland, OR, John Gower (Linda) of Acton and Scott Gower of Maynard; and his siblings, Patricia Gilpatrick and Joan Sullivan. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
