He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Virginia Ruth Bradley Hines; his children, Sarah Thompson Hines of Norman, Atulananda Dasa Hines (Andrew Matchett) of Los Angeles and Anna Viele Hines of Trumansburg; his siblings, Hadley Hines Chianese of Belmont and Julian Bigelow Hines of Boston, Massachusetts.; his grandchildren, Ananda Bradley Schaff, Maia Wara Camacho Hines and Nina Aysel Camacho Hines; his nephew Noe Chianese; his niece Emma Ruth Knickerbocker Chianese; and his cousins, Catherine Viele (Michael Delaney) of Ojo Caliente, Lucy Viele of Santa Fe, John Viele of Kittery, Maine, Amy Viele (Rob van Os) of York, Maine, Helen Hinshaw Crary (Miner Crary) of Sudbury, Massachusetts, John Hinshaw (Beth Hinshaw) of Portland, Oregon, Julia Hinshaw Williamson (David Williamson) of Hermitage, Pennsylvania, Josephine Jacob (James Adams) of Deer Isle, Maine, William Jacob (Paula Jacob) of Rockville, Maryland, John Jacob of Thomaston, Maine, Cameron Crary, Alyssa Crary, Eva Hinshaw, James Williamson, Jake Adams, Esther Adams, Anna Jacob, Andrew Jacob, Caleb Jacob, Kaitlin Jacob, Annabel Coogan and Josie Coogan.
