It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marguerite A. Dowd of Concord, Massachusetts, who passed away on January 6, 2021, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband James E. Dowd; her children, Jane Elizabeth Dowd and James E. Dowd Jr.; her parents, Katharine F. O'Donoghue (Walsh) and Joseph E. O'Donoghue; her siblings, Mary Herlihy, Elizabeth Eichorn, John O'Donoghue, Arlene O'Donoghue, Joseph O'Donoghue, Francis O'Donoghue and Jean Connor; and her parents-in-law, Dr. Joseph, Dr. Mary Dowd (Needham), Alice Dowd (Arlington) and Jim Shea (Hyde Park).
She is survived by: her daughter Ann Dowd Goodhue (Terry) of Concord, MA; her grandchildren, Elise, Lexi and Amy Goodhue of Concord; and her sisters-in-law, Grace Shea and Evelyn O'Donoghue. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, godchildren and wonderful friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Family Parish in Concord, MA, arranged by Dee Funeral Home, was celebrated privately due to the COVID-19 pandemic on Saturday, January 9th.
