Eleanor Sweetman Smith Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eleanor Sweetman Smith of Concord, Massachusetts, who passed away on November 11, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Elpern Smith; her parents, Ruth Sweetman (Freitag) and James (Jakob); her sisters, Edith and Inge; and her nephew Mark Ferdschneider (Angie) of St. Croix, U. S. V.
She is survived by: her daughter Randi Soltysiak (Smith) of Somerville, MA; her son-in-law Mark Soltysiak; her grandchildren, Jacob Soltysiak and Ari Soltysiak; her son Lee Smith of Concord, MA; her daughter-in-law Jennifer Smith (Boniface); her grandchildren, Claire Smith, Jason Smith and Rebecca Smith; her nieces, Roberta Ferdschneider and Angie Ferdschneider; her nephew Harvey Ferdschneider; and her great-nieces, Juliette Ferdschneider, Edith Fraser (Ferdschneider), Leah Ferdschneider and Maya Ferdschneider. She is also survived by her parents and sisters.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Umbrella Center (40 Stow St, Concord, MA 01742). A reception will be held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Umbrella Arts Center (40 Stow St, Concord, MA 01742).
