She was predeceased by: her parents, Dorothy Ernst (Puffer) and Clayton Ernst; her husband Clifford Bean; her daughters, Cathryn and Deborah; and her sister Eleanor Thompson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Meredith Eley (Donald) of Blue Hill and Julia Bean (Steve Lawrence) of Dover; her adoptive son Elias Towe of Pittsburg, Pennsylvania; her grandchildren, Chris McClellan, Conor Sass, Kate Mick, Samuel Eley and Benjamin Eley; her great grandchild Sawyer McClellan; her nieces, Pam, Emily and Holly Thompson; her nephew Bill Thompson; and her caregiver Maria Almeida.
