He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Louise (Olsen) and Daniel Gottlieb Walther; his wife Sally Jo of Sanibel, FL; his daughter Erika Louise; his son-in-law Dan Doherty of Seattle, WA; his grandchildren, Sam and Abby; his children, Hilary Elizabeth, David Franklin Jr. and Ryan Eastman; and also, Duncan Cumming of Rensselaer, NY, Lucy, Mairi, Violet, Logan, Cassidy, Jackson, Ronit Kobrinski of Columbia Falls, MT, Yosi, Olin and Aya.
