She was predeceased by: her parents, George Clift and Hildur Clift (Nelson). She is survived by: her children, Chip (Hess) of New Zealand, Tom (Holly) of Oregon and Chris (Jim) of Concord, MA.; and her stepchildren, Ron, Ann, Karen and Sue. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grand children.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Barbara's name to the Shwachman-Diamond Syndrome Registry (https://secure.childrenshospital.org), a group of researchers and clinicians committed to accelerating the pace of discovery for treatments and therapies of SDS.
