She was predeceased by: her parents, John "Jack" Stien and Lillian Stien of Naugatuck; her brother John Stien; and her nephew Jeffrey Stien. She is survived by: her children, Scott Bickford (Ninh Tran) of New Orleans and Tammy Nuenighoff (Steven) of Mount Pleasant; her grandchildren, Dana Nuenighoff (Nicholas Ferry) and Rhett Nuenighoff; and her nephew Jason Stien.
