He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Hansel (Dahlen) and Art Hansel; and his brother Tim. He is survived by: his wife Joyce MacKinnon; his children, Cynthia (Michael), Jennifer and David; and his grandchildren, Alyssa, Michaela, Jack and Parker. He is also survived by friends and his three sisters-in-law.
