She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Joy and Bessie Joy (Herzig); her husband Donald A. Giard, Sr.; and her son Michael. She is survived by: her children, Donald Jr. of Colrain, Raymond of Colrain, Mary Eggert of Halifax, VT, Janet Delisle of Heath, Anita Michonski of Shelburne Falls, Ruth Coutu of Ashfield, Rose Cole of Colrain and Cynthia Allen of Colrain. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
