He was predeceased by: his parents, James Smith and Susan Smith (Sheridan); and his siblings, Thomas Smith (Al) and Robert Emmet. He is survived by: his brothers, James Patrick (Bernadette) and John Francis (Jack); his sister-in-law Suzanne Noonan Smith; his nieces and nephews, Kathleen, Paul, Margaret, James, Frank, Mary, Michael, Terence and Elizabeth; his great-nephews, Kevin and Brian Daugherty; his friend Richard Armstrong; and his brother Flemings Marine Hardware (Gift Shoppe).
