It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ellen Carpenter (Cohasset, Massachusetts), born in Hingham, Massachusetts, who passed away on April 6, 2018, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse James P. Carpenter; her children, Jennifer Boylan (Michael) of Cohasset, Melissa Haire (Casey) of Darien, CT and Timothy Carpenter (Rose) of Boston; her grandchildren, Courtney, Isabelle, Liam, Jack, Owen Haire, Edward, Charles, Henry Carpenter, Margaret Boylan, Seamus Boylan and Gram; her siblings, John Murphy of Cotuit, Richard Murphy of Hingham, Maryann Murphy of Cohasset and James Murphy of Plymouth; and her parents, Mary Murphy (Dolan) and James G. Murphy.
