He is survived by: his children, William Hedge Woods of Menlo Park, CA, Anne Adams Norwood (Kenneth) of Charlottesville, VA, Susan Cornell Spofford (Robert) of Cohasset, MA and Jonathan Tufts Woods (Alice) of Wilton, CT.; and his sister Gertrude (Sis).
