She is survived by: her husband James Contis; her children, Jay Contis (Lisa) of Marblehead, MA and Kristen Contis of Topsfield, MA.; her grandchildren, Gage, Kallie and Eva; her sister-in-law Madeline Marken; her niece Melanie; her nephews, Charlie and Tony Marken; and her brother Col. Donald Maxwell of Kaiserslautern, Germany..
She was involved with numerous nonprofits which included serving meals at Rosie's Place, delivering Meals on Wheels, knitting hats for kids in Haiti for the BeLikeBrit Foundation, just to name a few.
