She was predeceased by: her husband John Henry "Jack" McCarthy; her parents, Elwin Duane and Margaret J. Knapp (Kelleher); and her child Elwin McCarthy. She is survived by: her sisters, Lois, Elaine and Peggy; and her children, Heather Knapp (Gene Rostov) of Riverside, CT, John McCarthy, Jr. of Portsmouth, NH, Kevin McCarthy of Tijuana, Mexico, Chris McCarthy of Roxbury, MA and David McCarthy of Boston, MA.
