It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Anne Downes of Cohasset, Massachusetts, born in Stoneham, Massachusetts, who passed away on April 21, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her spouse Thomas J. Downes; her sister Joanne Connors; and her parents, Joseph Putis and Eva Putis (Zankauskas). She is survived by: her daughters, Carol, Anne (Peter D. Kramers) of Hanover, Joanne (Michael J. Reynolds) of Scituate and Denise (Peter Faga) of Scituate, MA.; and her brothers, Edward and Alfred Putis. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours following COVID guidelines will be held on Wednesday, April 28th, 2021 from 10-11:10 am in McNamara-Sparrell Funeral Home, 1 Summer Street (across from St. Anthony Church), Cohasset, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 AM, St. Anthony's Church, Cohasset.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Anne's memory to Beacon Hospice, 32 Resnik Road, Suite 3, Plymouth, MA 02360.
