He was predeceased by: his brothers, Michael and Richard; his pet Duffy; and his parents, Edward McIntyre and Agnes McIntyre (Gill).

He is survived by: his wife Karen McIntyre (Boyce); his sons, Patrick McIntyre (Kelly) of Clinton and Brian McIntyre (Mary) of Los Angeles, CA; his grandchildren, Molly (Nicole) of Salem and Spencer (Kira); his great grandchild Rowan Margaret Thomas of Florence; and his siblings, Edward McIntyre of Clinton, David McIntyre (Julie) of Ashby, Claire Lent (John) of Clinton, Maureen Cranson (Bob Decker) of Sterling, Judith Cavanagh (Alan) of West Yarmouth and Annie Carr of West Yarmouth. He is also survived by extended family and many good friends.
