He was predeceased by: his parents, Arvo Wattu and Margaret Wattu (O'Connor); his nephews, Tommy McGeehan, Matt Lugo and Russell O'Connell; and his niece Khel McGeehan.
He is survived by: his wife Arlene "Chickie" Wattu (O'Connell); his sons, Jack Wattu (Kristin) and Derek Wattu (Carrie); his granddaughters, Jenna, Margot, Mary, Kara and Lauren; his siblings, Paul Wattu (Laurie) and Dorothy Wattu; and his siblings-in-law, Tom O'Connell, Rita McGeehan, Eileen O'Connell, Mary O'Connell and Mary Lugo (Vic). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, friends.
