She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Shumacker and Olga Shumacker (Steinke); her husbands, Neil R. Ashford and Pancrasio Culoso; and her son Steven R. Ashford.
She is survived by: her daughters, Janice, Renae Govel (Bob) of Albany and Lisa Borggreen of Cobleskill; and her grandchildren, Heather Pettengill, Susan Rorick (Joe), Bonnie Pettengill, Daniel Borggreen and Matthew Borggreen. She is also survived by six great- grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.
