He was predeceased by: his sister Nancy Tarczy; and his parents, Dr. Herman Schroeder and Elizabeth Schroeder (Barnes). He is survived by: his wife Carol Schroeder (Heinold); his children, Elizabeth Schroeder of Puyallup, WA, Frances Schroeder (Michael Koba) of Stonington, CT and James Schroeder (Sue Meyer) of Seattle, WA; his stepson Jeffrey Hitchcock of Bolton; his grandchildren, Josie, Lois, Zane, Olivia, Audrey, Ethan and Allison; and his siblings, Peter Schroeder (Linda) of Flagler Beach, FL and Martha Lewis (Charles) of Pittsboro, NC. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
