He was predeceased by: his son Jace R. Gaw; his aunt Ruth E. Gaw; and his parents, Henry Gaw and Loretta Gaw (Russell). He is survived by: his children, Ann-Marie Sappett, Renée Jost (Ernest Jost, Jr.), Eian P. Gaw and Shane C. Gaw; his siblings, Gerald Gaw (Carol) and Karen Gaw; his grandchildren, Paige Thompson, Masen, Nolen, Regan Jost and Charlie Gaw; and his former wife Maureen Sappett (Garrity). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
