He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Potas and Anna Potas (Ciesluk). He is survived by: his wife Marcia A. Potas (Connery); his children, Sarah A. Potas of Berlin and Craig M. Potas of Berlin; his siblings, Edmund Potas of Lancaster and Lorraine Hardy of Clinton; and his cousin Frank Potas, Jr.. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the Potas family suggests that memorial donations be made to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute.
