We bid farewell to Constance A. Gates of Clinton, Massachusetts, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 7, 2024 at the age of 93. Constance A. touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her husband Raymond C. Gates; her brothers, Michael Ruberti and Gerald Ruberti; and her sister-in-law Mabel Howard. She is survived by: her children, Philip Gates (Virginia), Eleanor Gates, Roberta Hastings (Michael) and Jeffrey Gates (Ursula); her grandchildren, Christopher Gates (Victoria), Timothy Gates (Jade), Shaun Gates (Rachel), Michael Gates (Kasie), Colleen Kosa (Michael) and Brittany Bennett (Theodore); her great grandchildren, Colin, Lily, William, Zachary, Brandon, Dylan, Raymond, Clara, Noah, Amelia, Eliza, Laura Gates, Olivia, Graham, Griffin Bennett, Cole Cassidy and Elliott Kosa; her sisters, Sylvia Quinn, Mary Cravedi and Veronica Tinker; her sister-in-law Marjorie Ruberti; her friends, Jeanette Praderio and Esther Goureghian; and her family Connie. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McNally & Watson Funeral Home (304 Church St, Clinton, MA 01510). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A committal service was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Reservoir Pines Cemetery. A burial was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Constance Gates may be made to the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund, In Memory Program, to which her brother Michael was posthumously inducted in 2014.
