He was predeceased by: his brother John H. Parkes; and his parents, William Parkes and Mary Parkes. He is survived by: his wife Susan Kraetzer Parkes; his stepsons, Peter Loges (Mary Beth) of Harvard, MA and David Loges (Lisa) of Memphis, TN; his stepgranddaughter Heather Loges; and his son Gregory Loges (Robert Landman).
