It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Shaw (Chicopee, Massachusetts), born in Springfield, Massachusetts, who passed away on May 20, 2020, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Schabowski and Millie Schabowski (Bergman); and his brothers, Theodore and Robert Schabowski. He is survived by: his sister Alice Widmer (Schabowski) of East Longmeadow; his significant other Eleanor "Ellie" Dowd of Chicopee; his sons, Michael J. Shaw (Gina) of Springfield, Paul W. Shaw (Joanne) of Wilbraham and Christopher R. Shaw (Jessica Jeune) of West Park, FL; his grandchildren, Benjamin, Caitlin Shaw of Ludlow, Casey Shaw of West Park, FL and Allison Mercier (Nathan); his great grandchild Aviana; his significant other's daughters, Laurie Hickey (Jason) of Athol and Mary-Beth Steele of Chicopee; and also, Nickalos, Ryan Steele and Lila Hickey.
