Rider Jr. of Chicopee, Massachusetts, born in Holyoke, Massachusetts, who passed away on September 14, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard H. Rider, Sr. and Ella Mae Rider (Saalfrank); his daughter Cynthia J. "Cindy" Morin; and his siblings-in-law, Edgar Breault (Pearl) and Theresa LaMaire (Al).
He is survived by: his wife Irene Rider (Breault); his children, Ann M. Pouliot (Gerald) of Chicopee, Henry R. Rider (Sandy) of Vinton, VA, Lucille T. Breen (John) of South Hadley and Debbie A. Weibel (Mike) of Chicopee; his son-in-law Rick Morin of Chicopee; his grandchildren, Lynn Riopelli (Alan), Amy Pajak, Kevin Pouliot (Becky Schnauber), Scott Morin (Kiley), Shawn Morin, Sarah Rider, Dylan Suchenicz and Rylee Suchenicz; his great grandchildren, Dakota, Garrett, Ethan, Alexa, Gavin, Addison, Kalvin, Tayler, Hunter and Cinthia; his sister Virginia O'Rourke of Northampton; and his siblings-in-law, Daniel Breault (Linda) of Lakeland, FL, Paul Breault (Kathy) of Chicopee and Mary Deyo (Rob) of Buena Vista, VA. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family members and friends.
His family requests that those attending the wake and funeral to please wear a mask.
