He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton C. Bennett and Dorothy Bennett (Peltier). He is survived by: his wife Barbara Moriarty (Moriarty); his sons, Paul M. Bennett (Virginia) of Albany, NY and Steven C. Bennett of Chicopee; his sister Jennifer Haggerty (David) of Ilion, NY.; his mother-in-law Virginia Moriarty; and his siblings-in-law, Susan Moritz (Moriarty), David Moriarty of Chicopee, Alice Ryan (Thomas) of Otis, MA. and June Matos (late Edwin) of Holyoke.
