He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter A. Kumiega, Sr. and Sophie Kumiega (Przybyla); his brother John Kumiega; and his grandson Kevin Kumiega. He is survived by: his wife Christine Kumiega (Malachowski); his children, Walter Kumiega, III (Penny), Christine Provost (Lloyd), Annette Kumiega and James Kumiega (Manuel); his stepsons, Howard, Andrew (Kate), Charles and Peter Kelly; and his caregiver Judith Devaux. He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
