With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Virginia H. Schmitt (Chicopee, Massachusetts), who passed away on May 27, 2020 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Lester; her parents, Martha and Albert; and her siblings, Karl, Ella, Richard and Kurt.
She is survived by: her daughters, Marla (Noel), Frances (Joseph) and Greta (Donald); and her grandchildren, Betzi-Lynn, Anthony and Sarah.
Virginia H. Schmitt (nee, Matthess), 95, a resident of Chicopee and Springfield, died at Life Care Center of Wilbraham due to complications of COVID-19 on May, 27.
