With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thomas J. McKenna (Chicopee, Massachusetts), born in Holyoke, Massachusetts, who passed away on July 29, 2022 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond McKenna and Veronica McKenna (Szost); his wife Jeannette M. McKenna (Marinello); his daughter Deanna M. Hicks; his brothers, Raymond, Frank and Jack McKenna; and his close friend Phyllis Paige.
He is survived by: his son Michael T. McKenna (Michele) of Chicopee; his son-in-law Kenneth Hicks of Chicopee; his grandchildren, Ryan Hicks, Katie Devoe (Kyle), Joshua McKenna (Alyssa), Cory McKenna (Megan Samson) and Brandon McKenna; his great grandchildren, Cole Devoe, Dylan, Grace, Noah McKenna, Lily and Layla McKenna; his sister Carol Ohlin of Phoenix, AZ; and his sister-in-law Barbara McKenna of Chicopee. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins, friends and extended family.
His family requests that memorial donations be made in his memory to the Dakin Pioneer Valley Humane Society, P.O. Box 6307, Springfield, MA 01101-6307.
