She was predeceased by: her parents, Alexandre Godin and Bernadette Godin (Gionet); her husband Leon O. Couture; her son Richard L. Couture; and her granddaughter Crystal C. Couture.
She is survived by: her daughters, Carol T. Remillard (Joseph) of Belchertown, JoAnne M. Souther (Bill) of Merrimack, NH, Susan J. Boisseau (Gerard) of Chicopee, Deborah A. Furr of Holly Ridge, NC and Sheila J. Rivard (Steve) of Chicopee. She is also survived by grandchildren, her 24 cherished great grandchildren, her cherished great great granddaughter; and her many dear nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, her family requests that memorial donations be made in her memory to Saint Joan of Arc School, 587 Grattan Street, Chicopee, MA 01020.
