He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Marion Maurer (Pasker) and Charles Maurer; his grandchildren, Clara, Andrew, Faith, Zayden, Sophie, Isla and Natalie; his children, Katrina Lambert (Doug) of Belchertown, Jacob Maurer (Rebecca) of Ludlow and Benjamin Maurer of Chicopee; and his sister Carol Poirier of Westfield. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
