Steven E. Ross Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Steven E. Ross in Chicopee, Massachusetts, born in Holyoke, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 7, 2025 at the age of 63. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Ross and Cecile Ross (Langlois); and his brother Richard "Richie" Ross. He is survived by: his daughters, Amber M. Ross (Emily) of Westfield, Taylor A. Bottaro (Dante) of Chicopee and Tori L. Ross of Chicopee; his granddaughter Clover Bottaro; his former wife Kimberly A. Caisse of Chicopee; his siblings, Sandra Tardy of West Springfield, Sharon Riley (Russell) of Agawam, Cynthia Ross of Enfield, CT, Kevin Ross of Chicopee and Nancy Santinello (Tim) of West Springfield; and his pets, Tuukka and Looch. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins, friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Phaneuf Aldenville Chapels (13 Dale St, Chicopee, MA 01020). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 8:00 AM at the St. Pierre-Phaneuf Aldenville Chapels (13 Dale St, Chicopee, MA 01020). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Sainte Rose de Lima Church (594 Grattan St, Chicopee, MA 01020). The military honors was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Massachusetts Veterans' Memorial Cemetery (1390 Main St, Agawam, MA 01001).
His family requests that memorial donations be made in his memory to Lorraine's Soup Kitchen and Pantry, 170 Pendexter Avenue, Chicopee, MA 01013.
