She was predeceased by: her parents, John Smus and Tekla Smus (Gancarz); her son-in-law Stefan Casemyr; and her siblings, Anna Stanley, Angie Smus, Wanda Smus, Evelyn Kaczynski, Wanda Adamski, Joe, Ray, John and Stanley Smus.
She is survived by: her spouse Ferdinand A. Staszko; her children, Cynthia Casemyr of Miami, FL and John Staszko (Judy) of Springfield; her grandchildren, Tess Gillard (Phil), Joakim Casemyr (Katarina), Catherine Steinheber (Eric), Natalie Chilaka (Karthick), Dominika Staszko and Daniel Staszko; her great grandchildren, Remy, Gabrielle Steinheber, Annika Chilaka and Robin Persson; and her siblings, Richard Smus (Lois) of Feeding Hills, Mary Smus of Springfield and Agnes Bogacz of Springfield. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
