He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Bys (Karboski) and William Bys; and his grandson Scott Grenier. He is survived by: his children, Stanley, Jr. (Karen) of Springfield, Sonja Gadziala (Brian) of South Hadley and Sheryl Lavoie (Roger) of Ludlow; his grandchildren, Randy Grenier, Lauren Rosa, Ryan Lavoie, Peter and Matthew Bys; and his great grandchildren, Larissa Rosa, Jacek Lavoie, Gavin Rosa and Janina Lavoie. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
