He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joseph Placzek and Sophie Placzek (Rajpold); his wife Nancy J. Placzek (Garon); his stepson Joel Patruno (Jamie) of South Hadley; his mother-in-law Jeanne Garon of South Hadley; his brother Richard Placzek of Ludlow; his niece Julianne Dias (Tony); his nephew Randy Placzek; and his granddaughters, Violet, Amber and Jasmine.
