He was predeceased by: his parents, Kazimierz Chmielewski and Anna Chmielewski (Milewska); and his son Dariusz Chmielewski. He is survived by: his wife Teresa Chmielewski (Borowska); his daughter Bozena Chmielewski Gieryk (Edward) of Chicopee; his grandchildren, Karolina and Szymon Chmielewski; his daughter-in-law Krystyna Chmielewski (Les Bowler) of Chicopee; and his siblings, Irena Korenkiewicz (Jerzy) of Poland, Joseph Chmielewski (Henryka) of Chicopee, Wieslaw Chmielewski (Wieslawa) of Enfield, CT and Bogdan Chmielewski (Krystyna) of Chicopee. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
