He was predeceased by: his parents, Penisimani Kaafi and Susana Kaafi (Tangulu); and his son Sione "John" Kaafi, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Akosita Kaafi (Vivili) of Chicopee; and his children, Janine LaRue (Jason) of South Hadley, Benjamin Kaafi of Sarasota, FL, Susana DesLauriers (David) of Chicopee, Daniel Kaafi (Samantha) of Chicopee and James Iongi of Chicopee. He is also survived by grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.
