She was predeceased by: her father Harold Kelly; and her daughter Sherry M. Ludden. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Julie Rodriguez (Jose) of Springfield, Michelle Ludden of Chicopee, Michael Graves of Chicopee, Jason Ludden (Gina) of Maine and John Defalco of Agawam; her brother Fredrick Wells of Springfield; her great grandchildren, Christopher, Justin Heasley, Christina Rodriguez of Springfield, Jonathan Ludden of Chicopee, Payge and Michael Graves of Worcester; and her great great grandchildren, Nevaeh and Jaeson Heasley of Springfield. She is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family asks in memory of Shirley and her love for animals that donations be made to the Dakin Humane Society, Located at 171 Union St in Springfield, MA.
